Drawing and Learning

The Gemmave aren’t extremely prominent, they linger but they are not as open as the others that are around. So it’s easy for them to be in the background whilst other beings step forward. I’ve learned a bit of them while drawing. This particular image is of the Amethyst, the rarest.. Like my first experience, this is an image of when I first met their kind. This is a picture of them from my personal Grimoire.

The common ones are crows and ravens, all black obsidian and tourmaline. The next up is the bluejays and the cardinals, sapphire and ruby respectively.. the next rare is the emerald ones, usually in the form of a parakeet. The most rare, is the Amethyst Macaw.. about 1:1000+ of the others.

Starting At The Boardwalk

I have been getting into the habit of going to the Astral as I fall asleep. Why, I am not so sure. I do know that it has been making it much more prominent that I travel in my sleep. It has been a bit disturbing or unsettling this past night. I just know that what I was reading right before sleeping played a big part. Whether it was traveling in dreamscape or other, that’s still a mystery.

But I made it a note to really start working on my astral travel itself. I wanted to start exploring more. Corv pulled me back and away from this underwater place, and we ended up on the Boardwalk. I got frustrated when he said that I worked with so many spirits that I need not to search for more. Which is true, but I do love to explore and learn so much from things. I wanted more to explore and swim, to get a bit away. I responded that I did just want to go to a new place. All I got in response was a roll of the eyes and “You are like a bear to honey, to not meet an new culture is almost impossible. Somehow you always end up working contract with them.”

“Well then, if I am to stay here, then you better be walking with me.”

I feel asleep close after that.

Leanel Spring Harvest

When I first arrived to the Kolemeia’s community, I was welcomed by Haeck. He is considered their leader, so I was welcomed to them with open arms after their relocation to Utopia. He met me at their gates, leaving my mates behind, who had followed me due to a recent human experience that had me traumatized. They left me there and bid be farewell for the next 12 days.

This day I arrived, was the day before Leanel began, which was in time to prepare. First off, I would need to get piercings for their culture, in order to do so. This would tell of my status. I was welcomed into Haeck’s home for the luncheon feast, as the night falling would be the last meal.

After eating, I was taken with the wife to see the Healers, who would pierce then heal me just so that it would not ache. Thankfully, this did not correlate with my human and physical body.

The piercings consist of two nipple piercings and one piercing on each shoulder near the junction. (see the picture of the Goddess). I do not have the four neck piercings, as it is the symbol of being a deity for two and being a Kolemeia for one. I had a necklace that represented having the two, but otherwise did not get the actual piercing. The chains and the number of them symbolize the status in the community.

The ritual requires that female walk with no shirt on, and only a sarong, this brings them to the days that they were of the Earth and clothes did not exist. It brings them to their roots. Males are to be bare as well, including their feet and only their frontal privates are covered. We retired for the night, falling asleep. The first day I was woken up to Haeck’s mate getting me prepared for the 12 day fasting. The diet consisted of nuts and starches like potatoes and rice, there are other foods that can be consumed, but nothing that is brightly colored or fruits. Once the morning meal had taken place, I was introduced to the main areas and was taught a bit about the Goddess, though they would not speak much of Her until I was inducted. I believe that there is a ritual that I must undergo if I wish to know more.

Each day was the same, I would sent my prayers and thanks to the Goddess. After the fourth day, I went to the Healer’s once more and received the one of the piercings on my nose like the Kolemeia has. The are more dermal studs than hoops, so the first one is a gold which came from their mines. It was to remind me of the gift of the Earth, the metal needed to build upon. The 8th day passed and I received the second piercing, a brown metal and earth combined, not an Earth found metal, which was to remind me of the plentiful soil that the plants grow from.. On the 11th day I received the final piercing, as the 12th day was the end of it. This one is a pure emerald, to remind me of the plants and flowers that is graced upon them by the Goddess.

When the 11th day came, at the end of it was not only the piercing, but it is the separation of the males and females. There is a separate ritual that includes the females devoting a part of body to the Goddess to help the crops grow and the ground fertile.

Every day, there would be a part of the day that was devoted to her. There are statues in the center gardens for them, where they genuflect and send their prayers for the Goddess to hear and bless. Each day, you wish upon for something different. Most people start with their community and things of that nature. It ends on the 11th day with something that is for yourself. The Final 12th day, you spend giving thanks and being selfless, wishing the grace of the Goddess upon the rest of the community. It is to teach humility and selflessness.
When the private part of the devotion occurred, it was mainly that a woman was taken with the other women of the community. There, they would devote themselves for the Harvest and release their bodies to the Goddess.

When the group reconvenes in the main front of the gardens where the largest of the statues stand, everyone kneels in a line on each side of the statue. An energy picks up and the Goddess appears.

“I have heard your pleas, and I have heard your words.”

She touches each person on the shoulder, giving them a grace while giving out her blessings. While she does this, every Kolemeia’s head is bowed so they do not look at her until commanded. I can feel fingers underneath my chin where she pulls my head and eyes up. I make eye contact her, where she gives me a personal blessing, which I have posted separately. She pulls me to stand with them and bows her head slightly. She makes mention of the sacrifice that I have given, not once, but twice to Her. This get blurry from there, ad then she disappears. I am feeling the cheers and the celebration around me as Leanel has begun officially.

When the ritual came to an end, with the Goddess appearing and giving her blessing, the festivities continue and I am walked back to the gate. There are my mates, waiting for me to return to their arms. I promise Haeck that I would work to get back to the Kolemeia and help with the Harvest.

The Ritual of the Chase // Final Testing

I was still half asleep when I started to travel. This time instead of ending up at Utopia, our personal realm that we all use, I ended up in the Forest. This time, I was met with only Aver, the Leader. He was large as we walked side by side into the deepest part of the Forest. I was kneeling down in the center of a small outcropping. It was the same that I had been to before. This was before I traveled back to Utopia, and The Room, which was explained to me then that my aura was in a frenzy from not mating with the Celestial Fae for too long. I waited and extended the ritual out too long.

Going back to the Yilugh, my memory cut out, which tells me that I went through the Final Testing. In doing so, I was now to be introduced to their herd as one of their own. The Leader shifted to a human like form, his antlers still very large. I looked up at him from my kneeling position, “doesn’t that hurt your neck?” It shocked him enough that he burst into laughter.

The initiation for this includes what they call the Ritual of the Chase. Potential suitors must chase me down through the woods, and the one that finds me, can claim me as a mate. It’s harder for me because I’m a Healer, so I must be energetically and aura connected with people. In order for me to recognize that I am a mate to them, I must read their aura or their energy and see if it is compatible.

I was told to shift into a doe form, so that the chase could happen. Aver came up behind me after I had shifted and ran a hand down my back, which made me shiver in anticipation. (EDITED FOR PERSONAL MATERIAL). He continued down my flank and slipped his hand around to my private area. Slipping a couple fingers inside of me, Aver stimulated me so that he would have my scent for the suitors to follow and find. The act alone had me melting under his fingers as he made me aroused. As he was doing this, I could see a male slip into the same small outcropping and he just drew me in. When he was done, he slapped my flank and I tore off into the woods.

I ran as hard and as fast as I could into the woods, enough to where I hoped to lose their scent. I lost myself to the instincts that I had developed when I not only shifted, but when the Ritual began. I jumped over a small brook and found a huge bush that I could lay down behind and crawl underneath. I waited for a long time, biding the time I had and hoping that someone comfortable would find me. I heard shuffling and didn’t have the time to dash away before I was pinned and forced to stand. I couldn’t run now that I had been caught. I could feel the stag try to mount behind me, so I shifted and turned around. It threw him off balance and I backed up into the tree behind me. The Leader came into view, as he had to officiate it. I shook my head and explained that I must be able to meet my suitor and see our compatibility. The Leader seemed upset that I didn’t follow the tradition, but I had to explain further that a foreign energy that doesn’t match with mine will corrupt my own and harm me than help. He conceded and told the man to shift into a more human form so that I may assess him. His energy didn’t match and I said so. The male became very aggressive and was advancing, citing that I was his by rite of the ritual.

Another male surged into the area before the Leader could interfere and challenged the suitor that caught me. This male fought him with his full form and t eventually beat out that suitor, to where the new male actually grew in size with the change in status that the winning of the fight was about. He shifted to a form for me to see, but something was off and it scared me. I was skittish about this male, because while he could be a potential mate, there was an allure there, something off. I look to Aver, the Leader, and swear upon my life that I would return to finish the ritual, but when something about me was corrected. He granted it, though I didn’t have much choice as I was dragged through a portal.

This is where I return to The Room and complete my bonding with the Celestial Fae and others to stop the frenzy of my aura.

When I returned to the Yilugh, Aver had lined up all the potential suitors into a line, so that I could meet them and choose from there. He was willing to work with me on that, as long as the Chase got to happen.
