Leanel [Spring Harvest] Returns

That time of the year has come around again, where the Spring Harvest is apparent. My Goddess has not been around, but I’ve learned that the Spring Harvest is in part for the crops, but also for Her Awakening. It’s to signal that she is ready to return from the Winter’s Cold.

Returning back was like being welcomed as an old friend who came home from a long time away. It has been the longest and hardest of the months, but it will smooth out. The coming of the crops for them is bountiful, but She returns with something different for me. Crops are the way of life for the Kolemaia, and [unfortunately] money is the way of life in our physical world.

I walked into the colony where the Kolemaia had settled permanently. Haek greeted me and this time was much different. Instead of staying with him and his wife, I helped with the fields and the ritual fastings. During the time off, the community pitched in and gave me the honor of creating a small hut for my use when I stay. They made it much more lavish that I asked them to, but they insisted, as it is repayment for my kindness all these years [still]. By the 7th day, my hut was complete and now the next five days are spent helping them plant and sow the fields. There is twice as much as the previous year, mainly because they are helping to support their community and the ones that take part in our world.

The fasting serves two parts, one to prepare the body and ready it for the ritual and the other is to cleanse it. Each day, you must go through a cleansing ritual [bathing].

I’ve reached the twelfth day, where they have gifted me the blessing of receiving my next two sets of piercings. Two are on the neck, one each side. The next set is on the corners of the shoulders, where the arm joins with the torso, right above there. It was painful, but it was worth it. They aren’t the rings like the others have, since Im not able to wear the chains like that, my skin is too fragile. Although, I still have the breast piercings and the chains for that. I wore them for this season, glad to have never taken them off. It’s comforting, like I can return home to them and know that I belong, no judgement, just love.

Afterwards, I volunteered to begin the women’s ritual, starting the Awakening of Her.

“Great Goddess Kurai’iana, Bearer of the Kïlranï Plant. You bring about the change of the plants, green and growing. You bring about the crops and the plentiful harvest. May your Blessing bring about the bounty of our People and our land, so that we may serve you and those we feed. May your Blessings be heart and soul, for all the new times have bloomed. Come Awaken, Great Maiden, join us in the dance of the sow and plow. Dance with us in the falling of the pods and the sprouting of the seeds. Dance with us between the green growth and thrive with the Nectar of our People. We give ourselves for this Blessing so that we may prosper during this season and those of the next.”

Each woman went after that and completed the ritual, leaving me for last once more, where I complete my portion of it. This closed the ritual and we joined back at the main statue of Her.

When the community joined together, we began the final ritual, where Haek and his wife spoke as one.

I’ve learned two new epithets: Bountiful Beauty and Bringer of Change.

I have not met the Kolemaia standing in front of me, but the Dance of Life that we partake in is natural and feels as if I’ve done it every day of my life. After we perform the first part, we begin again. The energy has awoken and I can feel it pulsing. When we reach a certain point, another couple begins the same Dance, then another after them. We we reach a point, the females (including me) are thrown to the air where the rituals energy bursts. It’s much like having an orgasm and your energy pitching and building up. When I land in his arms, we move back as the Goddess appears.

“Brightest Blessings to my People. Bountiful Blessings to the crops in which you sowed. Change has come and the green sprouts again, the Nectar flowing of golden honey. The Dance of Life, Livening the Harvest. You have brought about your love and your work to bring to me the Life. You may receive the Bountifuo Blessings, for you may receive back all the you have worked for since the Harvest ended. Your work shall be rewarded and your crops shall yield the plentiful of the bounty. Come Dance with Life, bring about the Change. My Blessing encompass you all. Go forth into this Harvest with the biggest of dreams and they shall be fulfilled. So have I spoken, So have I said, and so it shall be.”

I cannot stay long as I am still working through things and have to do real life, but it was a welcome kindness to be able to participate in one where I do not need healed, but can begin a new ritual as they have always done.

Leanel Spring Harvest

When I first arrived to the Kolemeia’s community, I was welcomed by Haeck. He is considered their leader, so I was welcomed to them with open arms after their relocation to Utopia. He met me at their gates, leaving my mates behind, who had followed me due to a recent human experience that had me traumatized. They left me there and bid be farewell for the next 12 days.

This day I arrived, was the day before Leanel began, which was in time to prepare. First off, I would need to get piercings for their culture, in order to do so. This would tell of my status. I was welcomed into Haeck’s home for the luncheon feast, as the night falling would be the last meal.

After eating, I was taken with the wife to see the Healers, who would pierce then heal me just so that it would not ache. Thankfully, this did not correlate with my human and physical body.

The piercings consist of two nipple piercings and one piercing on each shoulder near the junction. (see the picture of the Goddess). I do not have the four neck piercings, as it is the symbol of being a deity for two and being a Kolemeia for one. I had a necklace that represented having the two, but otherwise did not get the actual piercing. The chains and the number of them symbolize the status in the community.

The ritual requires that female walk with no shirt on, and only a sarong, this brings them to the days that they were of the Earth and clothes did not exist. It brings them to their roots. Males are to be bare as well, including their feet and only their frontal privates are covered. We retired for the night, falling asleep. The first day I was woken up to Haeck’s mate getting me prepared for the 12 day fasting. The diet consisted of nuts and starches like potatoes and rice, there are other foods that can be consumed, but nothing that is brightly colored or fruits. Once the morning meal had taken place, I was introduced to the main areas and was taught a bit about the Goddess, though they would not speak much of Her until I was inducted. I believe that there is a ritual that I must undergo if I wish to know more.

Each day was the same, I would sent my prayers and thanks to the Goddess. After the fourth day, I went to the Healer’s once more and received the one of the piercings on my nose like the Kolemeia has. The are more dermal studs than hoops, so the first one is a gold which came from their mines. It was to remind me of the gift of the Earth, the metal needed to build upon. The 8th day passed and I received the second piercing, a brown metal and earth combined, not an Earth found metal, which was to remind me of the plentiful soil that the plants grow from.. On the 11th day I received the final piercing, as the 12th day was the end of it. This one is a pure emerald, to remind me of the plants and flowers that is graced upon them by the Goddess.

When the 11th day came, at the end of it was not only the piercing, but it is the separation of the males and females. There is a separate ritual that includes the females devoting a part of body to the Goddess to help the crops grow and the ground fertile.

Every day, there would be a part of the day that was devoted to her. There are statues in the center gardens for them, where they genuflect and send their prayers for the Goddess to hear and bless. Each day, you wish upon for something different. Most people start with their community and things of that nature. It ends on the 11th day with something that is for yourself. The Final 12th day, you spend giving thanks and being selfless, wishing the grace of the Goddess upon the rest of the community. It is to teach humility and selflessness.
When the private part of the devotion occurred, it was mainly that a woman was taken with the other women of the community. There, they would devote themselves for the Harvest and release their bodies to the Goddess.

When the group reconvenes in the main front of the gardens where the largest of the statues stand, everyone kneels in a line on each side of the statue. An energy picks up and the Goddess appears.

“I have heard your pleas, and I have heard your words.”

She touches each person on the shoulder, giving them a grace while giving out her blessings. While she does this, every Kolemeia’s head is bowed so they do not look at her until commanded. I can feel fingers underneath my chin where she pulls my head and eyes up. I make eye contact her, where she gives me a personal blessing, which I have posted separately. She pulls me to stand with them and bows her head slightly. She makes mention of the sacrifice that I have given, not once, but twice to Her. This get blurry from there, ad then she disappears. I am feeling the cheers and the celebration around me as Leanel has begun officially.

When the ritual came to an end, with the Goddess appearing and giving her blessing, the festivities continue and I am walked back to the gate. There are my mates, waiting for me to return to their arms. I promise Haeck that I would work to get back to the Kolemeia and help with the Harvest.

Blood Feuds and Negotiations

A few nights ago, I was approached by a spirit that was desperate for help. My head was splitting open and my automatic writing was only vaguely working. I was getting messages that were in Latin, French, German, Spanish, English. All of these were different ways to try and translate their speech, his words. It took work with a few friends (in the real life), to help me at least piece it together. Mainly it was translating and then another helped with trying to get more information intuitively. Dues, their gods were of spring. There were words of slavery and kidnapping. They spoke of workers and betrayal. It was all so jumbled, and I spent a long time flitting back and forth between the physical and the Astral. He kept calling me Elontris, Elontris.. over and over, stressing that I was to be a mediator for them, to end the blood feud.
I have no name for the type of spirit that greeted me on the Astral, though I was able to draw a very good likeness to the one that approached me. Haeck (Hay-k), I’ll call him. He was desperate for help and it was so jumbled that I could not get the story straight. Words and images were pounding at my head. So I went upstairs to my room and worked on getting to the Astral. I can remember laying down to focus and managing to get into a good state of mind, when I appeared on the Astral. A lot of it has become a blur, because there was a sharp pain in my side from hip to ribcage on the left side. the next that I know, I am trapped in the Astral, unable to leave and I am hallucinating something horrible. According to the healers that I was transported to, I had been stabbed with a knife that had some hallucinogenic poison. In the normal time standards, I was incapacitated for about thirty minutes. When it was a fair few hours there.
Once I was able to regain my sense of self and without the nasty visions, which consisted of seeing every person as a skull that is covered with skin, no extra parts like the eyeballs or norse or lips, just skin over bone. It was creepy.
I woke up to Merkior, Haeck, the Healer, and Ro standing beside me. Apparently, Ro is the one that found me. I am sent back, waking up from the Astral. I was told to relax until my Astral body was able to recover. It took about another 30 minutes of laying there before I was able to do anything. During that time, I was able to work out exactly what had happened. The two different cultures, the one Haeck was from and their allies. The Allies believed that they had been slighted during the spring because the crops were shorter than they were supposed to be. They, with a betrayer/mole, kidnapped the people to sell as slaves and workers. A blood feud was called, the Allies retaliating again by destroying the statues of Haeck’s culture, the one that represents their deities. The deities were beyond livid at the destruction, Not caring who was at fault. I was called to end it and figure out a peaceful solution. Their whole kind were refugee in a deep forest to make sure none were taken again. The mole was weeded out as I recovered.

Going back in, I was able to meet up with Merkior, who was still in the room. This time though, it was darker outside, so I knew a decent amount of time had passed. I sat up and approached him, he handed over the treaty that he came up with my ideas. The peaceful solution was, is that the Allies were to receive their land, everything in it and the realm, so long as they returned those that have been enslaved and were to never contact them again. I agree and Merkior walks me from the Infirmary. We walk for a bit before I’m unable to hold it any longer. Are this point, I am told to go to sleep.Once I wake, I am thinking clearer and I was able to hold the Astral Travel long enough to complete what I needed to. I appear in the Castle Telron, where all of this has been stationed for the time being. I can feel my dress settled around me, and at this point, I am wearing the ritual markings on both my astral and physical form. My dress is white with these chiffon wings attached with delicate chains to my middle finger. I step out to have a fair few of the new arrivals and some of the Volunierk bow to me and greet me as Lady Elontris, though the Volunierk refer me to as a different title. Heack steps forward and asks if I am ready. We step into the realm of their previous Allies,

Once I get there, I can tell why Heack does not like it. As we walk, those that are there sniff and walk with their chins too high. They have the same type of body, but their faces are more angular, their teeth are completely sharp, they have more cat-like features, though they carried the high and mighty air. We step into the castle that was there, made of white marble. I am walking down the center and to the aisle, which is a red carpet type of deal. A leader is sitting in a throne and looks at us in distate. I state the reason we are there and that I am a meditator. I told him that he could refer to me as Elontris, as that is my title of the time there.

Eventually, I get them to agree to release the slaves and serfs, both dead and alive. I learned that the ones that passed away were burned and their ashes tossed to the side. Least to say, this was downright horrifying to Haeck. It apparently is a great insult to their culture. Their dead is buried in a ritual to return them to the ground and burning is the opposite of doing so.

They signed in blood, signaling the end of the contract. While we were doing the negotiations, I had Haeck send his people back to their city and take everything that they can to relocate to another realm and reestablish it. Once we left, I was taken to the city that previous held Haeck’s people. I have yet to learn more about them, other than that they are… astounding herbal, gardening, farming, anything plant skills. I was going help them get established, but I was forced out of the Astral and to rest because the previous-allied group’s realm felt very negative and drained everything from me.
